The city of Riverside was founded in 1870 and is truly a beautiful historic city with booming economic and real estate activity.
Riverside discovered the naval orange and is famous for the establishment of the citrus industry which led to a different kind of California Gold Rush. By 1882, there were over a half of a million citrus trees in California, of which half were here.
By 1895, Riverside was known as the wealthiest city per capita. The City is currently ranked as the 11th largest city in California with over 283,000 residents and is considered the center of the “Inland Empire” and is home to four internationally recognized colleges including the University of California, Riverside.
